Memories from the Northwest

Due to my recent broker-dealer change, I was too busy to make it to Washington this year. I went to Oregon in early September to visit clients up there, but it was still summer.

This week’s cold weather here in Utah has me missing my fall trips to Washington and Oregon. It’s been a year since I saw the west coast ocean and the beautiful fall colors.

I am really longing for the Northwest; I truly love that part of our country. I miss the rains and then the saturated colors that come after. I love the crisp damp air with the rich, musky smells after the cold rains. So, here are a few of my favorite shots from my home away from home.

This is the southern Washington coast near Cape Disappointment.
This is the commercial marina in Westport, Washington after an October storm.
I shot this scene on the way into Portland along US 26 near Mt. Hood.

Hopefully you will enjoy these photographs as much as I do.

Thanks for stopping by, and let me know what you think.
