I have been racking my brain trying to come up with one photo for my last post of 2021 – something great to say goodbye to the old and hello to 2022. I simply could not decide what one photo to use. So, here is a quick recap of what I feel are some of my best photos from 2021. Let’s do this in chronological order from the first of 2021 to the end.

So that was 2021 in photos. There is nothing after mid October because the next week I went into the hospital for prostate removal surgery. Today I am doing well, but still in recovery. My bladder is not wanting me to do longer trips yet. Hopefully later this winter, I’ll be back at it. There are so many places to go and people to see.
This post is for my followers and friends who help make my smile and keep me sane in this crazy world. I am so lucky to have made so many nice friends on WordPress. So, I wish each and everyone of you, and every one else who follows me as well as my other friends and family a very safe and wonderful New Year! To 2022!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing a bit of your travels and adventures. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2022!

Happy New Year Tim! Thank you for sharing your photos from the past year. I’m struck with how varied your travels and photos are. I especially like the cabin and the black and white photos, although the reds are pretty stunning too. It was hard to read in your email of a few days ago what a rough ordeal you’ve been through. But your resilience shines through! I hope things are going well. I wanted to share that I have so enjoyed the things I got with your gift card-a book called the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows (check it out!), a jigsaw puzzle that I worked with a couple of friends, and an art book. The latter has been so helpful in getting my creative self going again. Thank you again for such a rich and fun gift. Take good care, Carlie

Thanks, Carlie! Happy New Year too! I am glad you had fun with the gift card. And thank you for following my blog. It is always fun, and really keeps me going. Recovery is coming along steadily. I am actually feeling really good. But my bladder is still being a bit uncooperative. Supposed to be normal at this stage. I have been working out now for quite awhile, so things are moving along.
