Oregon Autumn

Since October is nearly in our past, I thought I should share a few photographs from my journeys to Oregon.  I hope this gets you in the mood for fall, my favorite season.  Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Tamarack Trees 3wp
Tamarack trees in central Oregon on US 26 in 2012.  Larix laricina, tamarack, is a conifer found from the Pacific Northwest in the US  up into the Yukon Territory in Canada.  It is one of the few conifers that drop their leaves in the fall and winter.

  1. Fall is coming on strong here in the U. K. Temps are dropping into the 40s and 30s, leaves are dropping, and most definitely, days are shorter this far north…sigh! Good pics!
